Yesterday I had fun making lipstick in my kitchen out of crayons. I've seen many recipes floating around the web for crayon lipstick so, after a long time of being curious I finally tried it. I used the recipe that I found here:

A close up of the ingredients: Unrefined shea butter, jojoba oil (I ordered both of them from
http://www.sudsandscents.com/), crayons, containers (that I purchased on Etsy.com) and some LaSlpash glitter that I added to a couple of the colors.
Here they are just out of the fridge after settling into the pots.

They are very sheer and wear more like tinted lip balm than lipstick, which was a bit disappointing. But, it was something fun to do on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Perhaps I'll look for other recipes and give them a try.
