Zoya Wishes Collection Winter/Holiday 2014 - The PixieDust Shades

The Wishes collection by Zoya is a collection of 6 polishes, 3 in the Magical PixieDust formula and 3 shades in a crème and shimmer/metallic.  I chose to divide the collection into 2 posts.  Here are the 3 PixieDust shades.  The remaining 3 shades will be in my Wednesday post.

 

 

Imogen is a black texture polish with holographic hex glitter.

Belugaria

In a previous post I used a polish from the Encrusted Treasures collection by Essie, Peak of Chic.  When choosing what polish to wear next, I figured that I might as well stay with the same theme and wear another color from that collection.  So, here it is... Belugaria.

 

This one was extremely hard to photograph.  I must have taken a hundred or more pictures trying to capture all of the holographic sparkle from the hex glitter.  It really is quite sparkly in person and flashes with awesome color changes on the nail.  This is one of those polishes that you have to see in real life to truly admire... and I do.

Snowbird - Peak Of Chic by Essie

While most of you are enjoying a beautiful spring, it's still snowing up here.  Yes, it's literally snowing as I type this post.  <sigh>  I've had the old song, "Snowbird" by Anne Murray stuck in my head: "Spread your tiny wings and fly away and take the snow back with you where it came from on that day."  It inspired me to pull this polish out of my untried stash, Peak Of Chic by Essie.  It reminds me of a feathery white snowbird.

 

It also reminds me of these two, Hawk and Koori from Buck Rogers.

 

 

 

Sea Goddess Gradient

Here is a gradient using two colors from the Sea Goddess collection by China Glaze, "Seahorsin' Around" (Teal) and "Tail Me Something" (Purple).

Here are some of the manis I've worn using the Sea Goddess collection by China Glaze.
First up is, "Tail Me Something" and "Seahorsin' Around" (on my ring finger).

 

The next one is, "Shell We Dance" and "Teal The Tide Turns" (on my ring finger).

 

"Sand Dolla Make You Holla" looks like icing.  Mmmm....
