Review - Lady Queen 2Pcs Drill Point Pen Adsorption Stick / Drill Point Nail Art Pen

*Product sent for review.*

Today I have a review of the 2Pcs Drill Point Pen Adsorption Stick / Drill Point Nail Art Pen from LadyQueen.  They come in a set of two and are great for easily picking up rhinestones, beads, pearls and gemstones to add to your nail art.  The rubbery tip picks up and holds stones securely until you are ready to place them on the nail.  The one thing that I really love about this product is that it doesn't leave any residue behind, unlike some of the wax pencils that I have used in the past AND it never needs to be sharpened!  This is a must have for me and anyone who enjoys adding embellishments to their manicures.  You can find them here:

Also, LadyQueen has graciously offered a 15% discount code for readers of Ditch The Mittens.

4th of July

Since my nails were so short following my last vacation, I decided to do gel extensions.  It's been a long time since I've worn extensions, but they're fun.  I'll probably continue wearing them until my natural  nails grow back.
The glitter tips were purchased on eBay and the UV gel was ordered from www.getnailedathome.ca  Their name cracks me up!

Sugar High

Thanks to the Easter Bunny, I've spent the last few days riding on a sugar high.  I thought it was only appropriate to celebrate the sweetness by pulling out "Sugar High" by China Glaze and doing something fun with it.

Here it is before I added the gems.  I'm not sure which way I like it best.

Game Day - Playoffs!!! GO STEELERS!!!

I don’t know what it is about these rhinestones, but zoomed in they look really spaced out, awkward and a bit wonky.  It’s a shame because in real life this mani is a sparkleishous Steelerfest and I totally love it! 6 rhinestones per nail to represent our city of “Sixburgh!”  I’m sad that it didn’t translate well on camera.
