Today's Friday Funny doesn't have anything to do with nail polish.  But, it fits in with this weeks Wizard of Oz / Dorothy theme and hey, it's funny!

Hello, my name is Dorothy.

Most people know me as Dode (pronounced like Jody with a D) but what many people don’t know is that Dode is a nickname for Dorothy, which is my given name.  So naturally being the nail polish fanatic that I am, any time I see a polish with the name Dorothy, I have to have it.  Right now there are 3 Dorothy polishes in my collection and I’m hopeful that number will grow over time.   Here they are…

75 Years of The Wizard of Oz

On this day in 1939, The Wizard of Oz opened in theaters across the United States.  It’s one of the best-loved movies in history and it will always be one of my favorites.

While going through some pictures on my computer, I came across an old folder with a bunch of nail pix that never got posted.  They were taken back in 2010 and 11 when I first started this blog.  They even have the old watermark that I used to use on them.  My oh my, have things changed since then!  So here is one of them, everyone's favorite (which after all this time still continues to be on nail polish Canada's best seller list) For Audrey by China Glaze.
